Of course, it wouldn’t be Halo without multiplayer, and at New York Comic Con 343 Industries announced that long-time fan-favorite multiplayer map “Hang’Em High” will return in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary as “High Noon.” Take a good look at the map in the gallery images above, then check out the details straight from Microsoft:

Along with announcing “High Noon” and detailing Halo: Anniversary’s Kinect controls, the team at 343 Industries has released a new behind-the-scenes look at Halo: Anniversary. Focused on the title’s legendary campaign and the many challenges co-developer Saber Interactive faced in updating the original visuals, this new look at Anniversary is full of gorgeous comparison footage that is sure to keep fans salivating until the game releases. Though it may not have the speed to match Modern Warfare 3, the looks to match Battlefield 3, or the cinematic flair to match Uncharted 3, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary still delivers where it counts most: gameplay. For those who have never played Halo before, there couldn’t be a better place to start. Longtime fans, meanwhile, should delight in Anniversary’s shiny new coat of paint and online modes. Too bad Microsoft has no plans for other Xbox HD remakes.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary releases November 15, 2011, exclusively for the Xbox 360.
